Patience and Brandi spend a quite moment after they arrive home to The Mother-Child Reunification House. Reflecting upon her prior behavior and lack of responsibility towards her children, Brandi is blunt about the choices she made in the past and why she lost custody: "The first time I met the judge she asked me,'Do you really want to be a mother?' " It was like a knife in my heart. In actuality, with my history, I look like I really do not want to be a mother. She was the first person that asked me that."
