This self-portrait project was created during a period when I was transitioning careers from business owner to a new career as a photographer; I found myself tied to a routine quite different from my former one. During this period I spent a lot of time in my home office, on the computer, learning new skills and it drove me a bit crazy at times, so I decided to take images that would look at the sameness of each day. I thought it would be a bit fun to depart from traditional self-portrait by using my crocs (comfy clown shoes) to represent my presence.
